How it works

Three steps and you’re playing.

No accounts, no downloads, no setup headaches. Open a screen, grab your phones, go.

  1. 01

Put the Stage on a screen

The host opens AnimaOS on a TV or laptop. It shows a 4-letter room code and a QR to join.

  2. 02

    Phones join in seconds

Everyone scans the QR or types the code. Each phone turns into a controller — nothing to install.

  3. 03

    Play, vote, laugh

Rounds play out on the big screen while you answer, vote and bluff from your phone.

Mixed mode

Same couch. Different cities. One lobby.

It isn’t screen-sharing or a laggy video call. The game state itself is synced, so any phone can mirror the big screen exactly — same rounds, same votes, same confetti.

  • Same room

Put the Stage on the TV and everyone plays from the couch.

  • Fully remote

No TV? Every phone mirrors the Stage, so you can play from anywhere.

  • Mixed lobby

Some on the couch, some across the country — all in one shared game.

The lineup

62 games. One tap to start.

Filter by vibe, group size or how long you’ve got — every game runs on the phones already in your pockets.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

The quick version — the full list lives in the docs.

How many people can play?
Between 2 and 10, depending on the game. Every game card shows its player range, so you can match it to whoever is in the room.
Do we need to install anything?
No app, no store, no downloads. The Stage opens in any modern browser and each phone joins by scanning a QR code or typing the four-letter room code.
Can friends join from another city?
Yes. AnimaOS syncs the Stage as shared state rather than streaming video, so remote friends see exactly what the couch sees. Same-room, fully-remote and mixed lobbies all play the same.
What devices work?
Put the Stage on a TV, laptop or any big screen, and use phones as controllers. Anything with a modern browser works — no special hardware, no console.
What if someone gets disconnected?
No panic — players have about 90 seconds to rejoin with the same code and drop straight back into the round. The Stage keeps the game moving in the meantime.
