Your data, kept about as simple as game night

Last updated July 5, 2026. Play as a guest and we barely see you. Make an account and we keep the essentials — nothing more.

Playing as a guest

Join a room with a QR code or a 4-letter code and you’re in — no account, no email, no password. We only see the nickname you type for that room and whatever you draw, type or vote on during the game, and it’s shared with the other people in your room.

If you make an account

Accounts are optional and only exist to save things like your favorite games or your hosting history. Make one, and we store your email address and your nickname — that’s it. No real name, no address, no card number, because there’s nothing to buy yet.

What happens to a room

Rooms are ephemeral by design. Once a room closes, we delete what happened in it — chat, drawings, votes, guesses — typically within 24 hours. We don’t keep a highlight reel.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small amount of local storage to remember your language (English or Romanian) and to reconnect you to your room if your phone or the Stage refreshes mid-game. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site tracking.

Family mode & younger players

AnimaOS is built for people playing together in the same room, or on the same call. Family mode keeps prompts appropriate for all ages. We don’t knowingly collect anything from young players beyond an in-game nickname.
